MARSHALL, TEXAS - Three more women have been arrested in connection with a disturbance in a park, after seven were taken into custody already.
Marshall police said in a release that officers were called to a riot where two juveniles were injured and emergency access was disrupted. Police said a large disturbance was reported in City Park that started when two juveniles began to fight, then a large group of adults got involved.
In addition to the seven arrests announced in that release, three more women have been charged with riot participation as of Friday.
Denija Tynae English, 24; Detasia Tyrone English, 26; and Peyton Kristine Johnson, 25, have all been booked into the Harrison County Jail. Bond for each has been set at $50,000.
Marshall police described the riot as “part of an ongoing pattern of gatherings that turned violent over the past few months that have created unsafe conditions in public areas and disrupted traffic.”
