NEW YORK CITY - A TERRIFYING video has captured the moment a group of violent teens assaulted a bus driver with pepper spray while one boy menacingly waved a massive machete.
It's just the latest in a disturbing string of public transit disasters that have left commuters fearing for their lives every time they board a train.
On September 12, an after-school argument in New York City turned violent when one teen whipped out a machete and started chasing another boy, witnesses told Nexstar affiliate PIX11.
The boy raced from the school yard into a nearby Metropolitan Transit Authority bus as the sword-wielding teen and others ran in behind him, according to a now-viral video shared in a residents' association Facebook group.
The student being chased sprinted out of another entrance and was quickly followed by the driver who tried to break up the fight.
The 54-year-old man held up his arms while the aggressive teen menacingly puffed his chest and held up the machete toward the boy.
