HOUSTON, TEXAS - Authorities say an 18-year-old shot and killed a young father after carjacking someone else in west Houston.
Henry Steven Aguilar, 18, has been charged with capital murder and evading arrest in connection with the shooting death of 25-year-old Felix Caxaj.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened Sept. 21. That night, officers were called at about 11:05 p.m. to the 6300 block of Skyline Drive after reports of a robbery and carjacking.
At the scene, police were met by a man who said he had been carjacked by three Hispanic men, one of whom was carrying a rifle. The victim said two of the suspects fled in his vehicle, while the armed suspect - later identified as Aguilar- fled in a black, four-door sedan.
