BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA - The parents and grandparents of a two-month-old who died on Feb. 21 have been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
Arrest warrants state that the child’s parents, Chloe Marnell and Jayhlen Washington, face charges of involuntary manslaughter and Negligent Child Abuse-Serious Bodily Injury. Additionally, Eddie Hollingsworth, the child’s grandfather, and Danika Holloway, the child’s grandmother, are charged with Negligent Child Abuse-Serious Bodily Injury. All four—Marnell, Washington, Holloway and Hollingsworth—were taken into custody on Sept. 19.
