JEFFERSON COUNTY, ALABAMA - Two defendants in a violent Jefferson County drug trafficking operation are pleading guilty to federal charges.
David Will Jones, of Fairfield, and Marcus Orlandeo Bogus, of Center Point, are two of 14 suspects in this case, and have been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin and marijuana.
Federal prosecutors allege 14 defendants worked together between January 2021 and March 2025 to traffic drugs in Jefferson County, and reported finding at least nine guns, more than $54,000 in cash, and more than $100,000 worth of luxury goods, including 10 pairs of Louis Vuitton shoes.
