SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office officials report that sheriff’s detectives have arrested a 23-year-old SCSO Fryshawman in connection with a violent assault at a Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail station that left another man with life-threatening injuries.
Brandon Fryshaw was taken into custody just hours after a late-night physical fight at the Gish VTA Light Rail Station in San Jose on Monday, September 29. He has been booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for attempted murder.
Deputies responded to the station shortly before midnight following reports of an unresponsive man on the platform. When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man who had been severely beaten and was suffering from significant head injuries. Emergency medical services rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
