BRADENTON, FLORIDA - Bradenton police have arrested a 69-year-old man on Oct. 2 in connection with the stabbing death of 44-year-old Thania Fuenmayor.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 to a minor traffic accident in the 2100 block of 8th Ave. E., where they found Fuenmayor lying outside her SUV with multiple stab wounds. Despite emergency first aid provided by officers and EMS, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from the Bradenton Police Department and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit recovered evidence at the scene, including a knife, and launched an investigation that led to the suspect, 69-year-old Francisco Ramos-Moradel.
