LOCKLAND, OHIO - A man has been arrested in Lockland, Ohio, in connection with a homicide investigation involving a victim in Georgia.
It started on Oct. 11, when a 48-year-old man was reported missing out of Statesboro, Georgia. His mother gave details on his car to police and they were entered into the national crime database and Flock camera system.
Shortly after, the car was spotted near the Cincinnati area, with Lockland officers chasing the suspect for a short time before the driver and a 17-year-old inside were taken into custody, police said.
According to Statesboro police , Randall Lamar Williams has active warrants in Georgia for felony murder and aggravated assault. In Hamilton County, he was charged with failure to comply with a police officer and endangering children.
Williams is slated to be extradited from Hamilton County, Ohio, to Georgia, where he will face charges.
