CLARKTON, NORTH CAROLINA - A woman has been arrested after she allegedly shot her husband in the head, according to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
Deputies responded to a 911 call at around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 15, where shots had been fired in the area of Oakdale Homes in Clarkton.
Deputies found Craig Rich with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was taken to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
Investigators identified 50-year-old Alisa Michelle Rich of Whiteville as the suspect.
She was charged with attempted first degree murder and is currently being held at Bladen County Detention Center with no bond.
According to the BCSO, the eyepatch Alisa is pictured wearing was on before her arrest.
BCSO officials say the incident appears to be a domestic dispute and is under investigation.
