MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - A Memphis man is facing rape charges after police say he assaulted his 70-year-old neighbor.
The alleged rape happened Monday when police say 30-year-old Keenan Morris asked his neighbor to use her phone before pushing past her and entering the home.
He then allegedly covered the woman’s mouth, pushed her on the couch and raped her.
According to the police affidavit, Morris told the woman “I decided not to kill you,” before leaving.
After the victim called police, officers found Morris standing next to her vehicle, which was running.
Morris was then arrested and charged with rape, aggravated burglary, abuse of an elderly adult and kidnapping.
