BELZONI, MISSISSIPPI - Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Belzoni gas station.
This according to the Belzoni Police Department, who posted details of the arrest Saturday morning on social media.
“Through swift and coordinated efforts of responding officers and investigators, two subjects have been taken into custody in connection with the incident,” the department wrote. “At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing.”
The shooting occurred at the Double Quick convenience store on U.S. Highway 49. The time of the incident was not posted. It was not known if anyone was injured.
According to officials, the suspects have been identified as Lakoya Cason and Terrell Hollins.
