FLORENCE COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - A teen was arrested in a carjacking incident that happened on Sunday.
Nyori Devonte Ziquan Humbert, 19, of Darlington was charged with carjacking and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to booking records.
Around 11:45 a.m., the victim picked up Humbert on Waverly Avenue to give him a ride, according to police.
Police said when Humbert got in the car, he presented a firearm and demanded the victim give him the car.
The victim then pulled into the gas station and 'struggled' with Humbert. Police said Humbert eventually 'gave up' and fled the scene.
The victim recorded part of this incident.
Police said Humbert and the victim had previously met one time before this interaction.
