NFL star Jimmie Ward learns fate after allegedly threatening to kill his wife in crystal meth-fueled sexual assault

Houston Texans safety Jimmie Ward will not face any criminal charges in his domestic violence case after a grand jury did not find probable cause.
According to TMZ Sports, Ward - who was accused of threatening to kill his wife in a crystal-meth fueled sexual assault earlier this year - vehemently denied any wrongdoing after being arrested and hit with a bombshell lawsuit.
The 34-year-old was charged with felony domestic violence following the arrest at his home back in June after allegedly choking Cristy West, with whom he was in a relationship for several years.
As well as the pending criminal charge, he also faces a civil suit from West, who is seeking more than $20million in damages.
However, a Montgomery County, Texas court official has reportedly confirmed that no bill was issued on Thursday after the ruling from the jury, meaning Ward will not be charged criminally.
'Today we presented our grand jury packet and evidence to the grand jury to show that Mr. Ward was factually innocent of the allegations against him,' his attorney Stephen Jackson is quoted as saying.
