UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA - Union Public Safety officials have charged a suspect in connection with two shooting incidents. They said 21-year-old Zaedan Mack Hill acted alone and is being charged with both shooting incidents.
Around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the SLED Swat team, and Union Public Safety Officers responded to a home on South Church Street in Union, South Carolina in reference to two shooting incidents.
"I would like to thank the ones in the public who have come forward with information," Police Chief Robbie McGee said. "Those are the people that have helped. Those are the people that make this happen. That's how we're able to have two murders on Tuesday, and it's solved on Thursday."
McGee said Hill will be facing two counts of murder, two counts of possessing a weapon while committing a felony and one count of armed robbery.
