Florida jury doesn't believe Ketchup's self-defense claim after he shot Tierra 10 times in the back - found guilty of murder

PENNSACOLA, FLORIDA - After three days of testimony, evidence and argument, a panel of jurors convicted Christian Ketchup of murdering Tierra Binion in the parking lot of Mugs & Jugs.
Ketchup, who claimed he shot Binion 10 times in the back out of self-defense, was convicted of second-degree murder with a firearm for killing the 25-year-old mother of twins on Aug. 23, 2023.
"The defense said this defendant was saying, 'Hey, let's break it up, let's not fight' — he's a peacekeeper," Chief Assistant State Attorney Bridgette Myers Jensen told the jury. "You know what, ladies and gentlemen, maybe that's the way he started, but he ended up a murderer."
