WASHINGTON, DC - Authorities in D.C. are offering a $50,000 reward for info leading to the arrest of the final suspect in the murder of a UMass congressional intern, a tragedy leading Republicans say could have been prevented if not for soft-on-crime policies.
Eric Tarpinian-Jachym’s death earlier this summer remains fresh in the minds of lawmakers who believe local figures in Washington have failed in ensuring that the nation’s capital is safe for everyone.
The Metropolitan Police Department is combining forces with the FBI’s Washington field office and the U.S. Marshal’s Service in offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Naqwan Lucas in connection with Tarpinian-Jachym’s murder.
