LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - Police have confirmed there is a suspect in custody for Tasha White's murder.
White disappeared earlier this year from Louisville and was found dead in the woods more than a week later.
On Tuesday, Louisville's mayor said someone has been arrested in connection to her death. LMPD said Wednesday that person is Jamie Shelby, 44.
According to police, Shelby and White had an "intimate relationship."
LMPD said he was arrested Tuesday in Jeffersonville, Indiana by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, a day after he was indicted.
He's charged with murder - domestic violence, robbery 1st, and possession of handgun by a convicted felon. Shelby is currently jailed in Indiana and will be extradited to Louisville.
