DAYTON, OHIO-- According to Lieutenant Eric Sheldon with the Dayton Police Department (DPD), on Thursday, a 22-year-old man was shot while he was working as a landscaper in Dayton.
DPD officers were sent to the 0 block of Indiana Avenue near Wyoming Street around 11:20 a.m. where they found that the man had been shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital, and he died from the injuries he had suffered.
The 911 caller described what happened before the shooting.
"We got a guy shot in the heart," said the 911 caller.
