Jaylin charged after Mobile Alabama police chase with killing Kamron before stealing his car

MOBILE, ALABAMA - UPDATE: Police on Tuesday released new details about this homicide investigation. They said the victim, 24-year-old Kamron Killings, was shot and killed Sunday by Jaylin Roberts-Westry, 18.
Police said Roberts-Westry shot the victim before stealing his car.
On Monday, at approximately 12:31 a.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling on McVay Drive with headlights off. The MPD said the officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit that ended in the 200 block of Government Street. The driver, Roberts-Westry, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail, police said.
Investigators tied the homicide to the suspect after he was in jail following the pursuit, police said.
