Terrence back in Texas after extradition from Alabama for killing Damian in El Paso

EL PASO, TEXAS — Police arrested a 38-year-old man in Alabama, who they believe shot and killed another man outside of a bar in Central El Paso.
According to the El Paso Police Department, Terrence Mathews was arrested Monday and charged with Murder in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Damian Arce, a Northeast El Paso resident, who was shot in the parking lot of Chit Chat Bar on June 1.
Police said Mathews was arrested in Alabama and extradited to El Paso after detectives with the Crimes Against Persons unit obtained a warrant.
Mathews was booked on Tuesday into the El Paso County jail under a $1 million bond.
