ROBESON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA — An arrest has been made in relation to a 2022 homicide investigation.
Robeson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) homicide detectives charged Kobe Mobley, 21, of Maxton, in connection with the death of 30-year-old Jock Clark, according to Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins.
In June of 2022, deputies responded to the 200 block of Revels Road in Maxton in reference to Clark, who had been shot and killed.
Mobley was charged with first-degree murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.
Wilkins said Mobley is currently serving a 20–25-year sentence in the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction in connection with an unrelated murder.
