Nunez charged with attempted murder after a Miami Florida shooting

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA - A 26-year-old man was arrested Monday after authorities said he opened fire on two people outside his Pinewood apartment complex.
Jail records show Juan Carlos Nunez is facing two counts of attempted first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
The shooting happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. near the 10000 block of Northwest 17th Avenue.
Investigators said a man and woman flagged down officers and reported that they had been shot at.
Detectives said the woman had been visiting Nunez’s residence when another individual arrived to pick her up.
As the two got into a vehicle, deputies said they saw Nunez on his balcony holding a handgun.
