Travis arrested after shooting a woman during domestic incident in Durham North Carolina

DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA — A Durham man was arrested Monday following a shooting that left a woman hurt the same day, police said.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded around 4:30 p.m. to a report of a gunshot wound at the intersection of Loyal Avenue and Drakesway Court.
A man, later identified as 37-year-old Travis Lamont Poole, told the officers about a domestic dispute that led to him shooting a woman, according to Durham police.
Police said the woman drove herself to the intersection of East Woodcroft Parkway and Pebble Creek Crossing before she was found by first responders.
