NEW YORK CITY - The wannabe mugger who was shot by an off-duty NYPD cop when he tried to rob her and her husband on a Penn Station train platform was charged in the stick-up, cops said Thursday.
Jahmar Stewart, 32 — who has five prior arrests — allegedly attempted to rob the husband and wife, both off-duty police officers, on a Long Island Railroad platform during evening rush hour Wednesday, authorities and sources said.
