Miami Florida woman behind 'bad date thefts' is back in jail for drugging men to steal luxury watches

MIAMI, FLORIDA - A 25-year-old woman who was accused of drugging men to steal luxury watches has been arrested again for the same elaborate scheme.
Angelina Chenel Esty of Pompano Beach turned herself in to Miami police on Wednesday and is facing multiple grand theft and burglary charges.
Esty's recent arrest is in connection with an August 9 burglary. She and an accused accomplice allegedly met the victims at a Miami bar and accompanied them to a Brickell apartment.
The victim told police he had limited recollection of the night and believed he was drugged during the incident, according to NBC Miami.
He later woke up to find his $20,000 Rolex watch, $4,000 in cash and his friend’s watch missing.
There was also an unapproved $500 transaction on the friend’s Cash App account, WSVN reported.
The alleged thief now faces charges including grand theft in second-degree between $20,000 and $100,000.
Esty is a 'known offender with prior arrests for similar bad date thefts', police said. She is facing more charges in three separate cases across South Florida.
