Marques and Daris arrested after a Gelensburg Illinois shooting injured one

GALENSBURG, ILLINOIS - Arrests have been made in Thursday’s shooting on E. Berrien St. in Galesburg.
Both 19-year Marques McClendon and 18-year-old Darius Holloway were located and arrested at a residence in the 300 block of W. Brooks Street.
McClendon and Holloway are both facing charges of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm
The victim was transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound Thursday.
Galesburg police responded to shots fired in the 300 block of Lombard Street at around 2:24 p.m. Thursday.
The victim, shot in the 1100 block of East Berrien Street, first arrived at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
