Saleebaan charged with murder in St. Cloud Minnesota after stabbing his pregnant girlfriend

ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA — A 26-year-old St. Cloud man on Friday, Sept. 26, has been ordered held in Benton County jail in lieu of $4 million bail with conditions or $6 million without conditions after being charged with four counts of second-degree murder in relation to the stabbing death of a 24-year-old pregnant woman with whom he was romantically involved and her unborn child.
According to the criminal complaint, Saleebaan Mohamed Abdirisaaq stabbed Falus A. Ali a total of 34 times on Tuesday, Sept. 23. Officers with the St. Cloud Police Department responded to a 911 call at an apartment in the 1000 block of East St. Germain Street around 11:24 p.m. Abdirisaaq had called and told dispatch that someone died at the location and asked for police to respond so they could "just come see," according to law enforcement. Officers found the body of the victim and a five-inch serrated kitchen knife covered in blood nearby.
