Angel Holland and Aaron Stalling are under arrest on three counts each of felonious assault and endangering children.
Court records describe Holland as the boy’s “custodian” who has had custody of him since 2020.
The case against the couple started earlier this month.
Elmwood Place police responded to a report of a juvenile not breathing at a home in the 5600 block of Helen Street, according to an affidavit filed in support of the charges.
