Thomas charged in Memphis Tennessee after beating, stabbing, and stealing phone from his ex-girlfriend

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend.
On September 20, the suspect, later identified as Danny Thomas, 27, got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend, the victim.
According to the affidavit, Thomas argued with the victim about their relationship ending; the disagreement became physical when Thomas punched her several times.
In addition to the punches, the affidavit says that he stabbed the victim in the stomach and the thigh; he then dumped the belongings from her purse, stole her phone, and left the scene.
