TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA - The athletics director for Florida A&M University may avoid a trial in her grand theft and fraud case.
Angela Suggs, 55, was arrested in June on multiple felony criminal charges after a months-long investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
She is accused of racking up about $24,000 in charges while misusing her former employer’s credit card, per FDLE.
Nearly four months after her arrest, the State Attorney’s office has agreed to deferred prosecution, according to a Thursday court filing.
