SALINAS, CALIFORNIA — According to the Salinas Police Department, a second 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the September 19 double homicide in Salinas.
On Friday around 6 p.m., 18-year-old Angel Cabrera was arrested with the help of the Modesto Police Department.
Police identified Cabrera as the driver of the suspect vehicle involved in the shooting. Officers brought Cabrera back to Monterey County and took him into custody, where he was booked in the county jail.
Police have previously reported that the triple shooting was linked to gang activity.
