RENO, NEVADA - Reno Police have arrested a suspect accused of attempted murder following a shooting that happened over the summer.
On July 20, RPD says they responded to a report of a shooting on Mill Street in which one victim sustained life threatening injuries.
Detectives identified the suspect as Norteño gang member, Christian Esparza.
Following several hours of surveillance, officers located Esparza and arrested him.
He is facing these charges:
• Attempted Murder with a Deadly Weapon
• Battery with a Deadly Weapon Causing Substantial Bodily Harm
• Carrying a Concealed Weapon Without a Permit
• Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person
