NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - Former NFL star Robert Quinn is seen with a bloodied face as he kicks at the inside of a police cruiser’s door in disturbing newly released footage from his January hit-and-run arrest in South Carolina.
Published by TMZ, the footage shows a belligerent Quinn struggling to speak while he remains handcuffed in the back of the police car.
‘[Inaudible] why I’m being put behind this car?’ the 35-year-old former first-round pick is heard asking North Charleston police.
Quinn, a former North Carolina star who is seen wearing a UNC t-shirt in the footage, quickly became angry with officers standing off camera.
‘I know you’re hearing me up front,’ Quinn said before he began kicking at the door.
Quinn still faces misdemeanor reckless driving and hit-and-run charges over the January 10 arrest in his native Charleston County, South Carolina and is due back in court in December. His attorney declined to comment to TMZ on Friday.
