SALINAS, CALIFORNIA - Salinas police said a 14-year-old was shot after an online sale meetup went wrong on Sunday evening.
Police say a 14-year-old male arranged to meet someone on Pearl Street to sell an item.
For reasons not yet known, Gustavo Barraza, 33, exited a house and fired several rounds at the teen.
The teen arrived at the Salinas Police Department with a gunshot wound to the lower-right abdomen.
He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Barraza was identified as the shooter and was booked into the Monterey County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.
