Guerrero charged after assaulting, carjacking, and kidnapping 75-year-old woman in Pembroke Massachusetts

PEMBROKE, MASSACHUSETTS - A Rhode Island man is accused of kidnapping and victimizing a 75-year-old woman after an encounter at a restaurant, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said.
Michael J. Guerrero, 36, is charged with carjacking, kidnapping, indecent assault and battery on a 60-plus or disabled person, assault and battery on a 60-plus or disabled person, assault with a dangerous weapon on a person 60-plus, and threat to commit a crime.
Guerrero pleaded not guilty to the charges and was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
On Sept. 15, a 75-year-old woman told police she had been victimized by an unknown assailant the night before. The woman said she went to a 99 Restaurant for dinner and left without her wallet and cell phone.
