BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA - Six people including teenage girls, minors and their mother face charges including assault and harassment stemming from a recent videotaped outdoor neighborhood fight in Lipscomb.
Police claim some of the teenagers are the same girls involved in an altercation with police that went viral weeks ago, but a Birmingham lawyer says these are two different cases involving different individuals.

Merrit said arrest warrants were issued for Tamela Pitts, the mother of the teenagers for endangering the welfare of a child; Ahjaia Young, 20; Shaquiria Pitts,19; Shamiah Peterson,18, in addition to unnamed 15- and 14-year-olds.
