Jeremy charged with murder in Canton Mississippi after beating Devonta with metal rebar

CANTON, MISSISSIPPI - Officers from the Canton Police Department have arrested a man in connection with the death of an individual found lying in a street.
This incident occurred at approximately 8:49 p.m. on Sept. 30.
The victim has been identified as Devonta Perry, 29.
Perry was discovered lying in a pool of blood at Harvey Watkins Drive and Fulton Street.
The victim was then transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Canton, where he later died.
