Diaz charged with murder after a dead body was found in her car's trunk in Los Angeles California

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA- A woman was arrested for murder after a body was discovered inside a vehicle at a tow lot in South Los Angeles last month, police announced Thursday.

Sandra Romo Diaz, 52, of Los Angeles, was taken into custody on September 16, one week after a person was found dead inside a car at Al's Towing on St. Andrews Place.

Police said Diaz was arrested after search warrants were served at multiple locations. She remains in jail.
