ALAMANCE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA - A High Point man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury convicted him of first-degree murder in a 2021 Burlington shooting.
Isaac Jermaine Weathersby IV, 24, was found guilty in Alamance County Superior Court of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, District Attorney Sean Boone announced Thursday. Following the seven-day trial, Judge Craig Croom sentenced Weathersby to life in prison without parole, in addition to an active sentence for the firearms conviction.
