FLORIDA - A collaborative investigation between the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Miami, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has resulted in the arrest of an illegal alien from Haiti identified as a wanted murder suspect in The Bahamas.

Aerlainsky Karistil was taken into ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) custody after the multi-agency effort successfully identified him as a fugitive. Authorities confirmed Karistil is wanted in The Bahamas to face a murder charge.

Karistil is currently scheduled to be deported to Haiti and subsequently extradited to The Bahamas to face the outstanding charge, pending the issuance of an Interpol murder notice.
