Drug dealer Odie sentenced to only 18 years in prison after 957 fentanyl pills were found in his car in DeSoto County Mississippi

HERNANDO, MISSISSIPPI -District Attorney Matthew Barton has announced that Odie Ratchford, a Memphis resident, pled guilty in open court yesterday to trafficking fentanyl in DeSoto County.
Ratchford was arrested in July 2022 on Goodman Road after a routine traffic stop by local law enforcement.
During the investigation, Ratchford admitted he had been selling fentanyl directly on the streets of DeSoto County.
Circuit Judge Celeste Wilson sentenced Ratchford to 18 years in prison, followed by 22 years of post-release supervision.
