Jakhari charged with 2 counts of attempted murder after shooting a man and women in Tallahassee Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA - A 17-year-old has been arrested Saturday afternoon by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a shooting near the off-ramp to Thomasville Road on Interstate 10, per LCSO.
Jakhari Williams is being charged with two counts of attempted murder and three counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle, a press release from the sheriff’s office said.
LCSO detectives and criminal analysts, as well as analysts at the Capital Area Real Time Crime Center, identified a person of interest and determined that one of the shooting victims, the adult black male, was known to the suspect and was the intended target of the shooting.
One man and one woman were injured in the shooting. LCSO said the man was the “intended target” and he was life-flighted to a hospital “outside of the county” following the incident.
