MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - The final suspect in a deadly Frayser domestic violence shooting that left two people dead has been captured, the U.S. Marshals Service announced Friday.
Malik Merriweather, 24, was arrested in Memphis this week by the Memphis Safe Task Force. He had been wanted since April for two counts of first-degree murder and eight counts of attempted first-degree murder stemming from an April 22 shooting on Cleoford Avenue.

On April 22, Memphis Police responded to reports of gunfire outside a home in the 1700 block of Cleoford Avenue. Two victims — Jasmine Ellington, 26, and her relative Michael Ellington, 25 — were killed. A 41-year-old woman was critically injured. Several others, including two children, were also present when shots rang out.

La’Cameron Jenkins, 23, and Martavious Jenkins, 22 — cousins — were arrested in May at a Georgia home during a drug bust. They were later extradited to Shelby County and each issued $5 million bonds.
