Person killed in Cincinnati shooting identified

Cincinnati, Ohio - CINCINNATI (WKRC) - One person was killed at an apartment building in Cincinnati, police confirmed. The shooting took place at 1636 Summit Road in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Roselawn at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Police identified the victim was 35-year-old Kenny Townshend on Sunday in a press release. In the release, police said they responded to the location for a report of a person shot, and arrived to find Townshend suffering from a gunshot wound. Although life-saving measures were administered, Townshend was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the investigation was still ongoing.
