TOPEKA, KANSAS - One person was arrested in connection to the Capital City’s 9th homicide of 2025.
According to the Topeka Police Department, Aaron K. Hurla, 18, of Topeka, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 14, in connection to the homicide of Destiny Voss, 28, of Topeka in the 3200 block of SW Randolph in Topeka, Kan. Hurla was arrested and taken into the Shawnee Co. Dept. of Corrections for Murder in the First Degree.
In addition to Hurla, through the investigation, Avant Chambers, 18, of Topeka, was arrested on Aug. 6.
