Rasson Jr. charged with attempted murder after a Shreveport Louisiana mass shooting

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA - The Shreveport Police Department and multiple other agencies worked together to locate and arrest a suspect allegedly involved in a mass shooting.
On Oct. 14, the U.S. Marshals Task Force, ATF Task Force, and Shreveport Police Department’s (SPD) Special Investigations Unit and K-9 Unit came together to locate and arrest Rasson Smith Jr., 21.
Smith Jr. was located and arrested without incident.
The arrest was due to Smith Jr.’s alleged involvement in a Sept. 20 mass shooting in the Allendale neighborhood, which claimed the lives of two people and injured six.
