MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - A Memphis woman is facing three felony charges after police say a fight inside her car escalated and left her two passengers, including a 17-year-old girl, injured.
Dierra Boyland, 24, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of child abuse. Shelby County Jail records show that she was formally booked Tuesday.
According to the arrest affidavit, the alleged assault happened almost two weeks prior on Friday, October 3.
Memphis police responded to an assault call at a home on North Trezevant Street in the Hollywood area at 11:44 that night.
When officers arrived, they were told that Boyland was involved in a fight with another woman and a 17-year-old girl. Boyland allegedly hit both with her SUV and drove off, leaving both injured.
