MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a second suspect in connection with a shooting at a community center.
On January 25, officers responded to a shooting at a community center on Park Avenue in the Orange Mound.
When police arrived, they discovered that three people had been injured.
All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital; two of the victims were transported in critical condition.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that there had been gunfire exchanged between the victims and two suspects; during the shootout, several bullets struck the community center, causing over $8,000 in damage to the building.
The first suspect, Cortez Spencer, was booked into jail earlier this year.
The second suspect, later identified as Jacquez Williams, was booked into jail on October 13.
