ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The boyfriend of a missing Cobb County woman admitted to killing her and burying her body in Atlanta, according to police.
Police had issued a missing person bulletin for 45-year-old Tange Davis of Mableton on Tuesday, saying that her family and friends were “extremely concerned for her safety.”
Police said Davis’ son called them over the weekend, telling them he hadn’t heard from her since Thursday, which was highly unusual for her.
Davis’ son used the OnStar app to track her Chevrolet Equinox to the parking lot of a Lidl grocery store in Mableton, after which he called 911.
Police said 56-year-old Cecil McCrary arrived at the parking lot soon after officers responded.
McCrary reportedly told officers that Davis was his girlfriend and had last been at his Mableton home. Police said he gave them security footage showing Davis leaving his home Thursday night.
