Zephaniah charged with murder after shooting Derrick in Dillon County South Carolina

DILLON COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA — After over a month of investigating, the Dillon County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) arrested Zephaniah Amatyos Baker, 29, for the murder of 48-year-old Derrick Jones, according to DCSO.
Jones was shot and killed Sept. 7 on Smutherman Drive in the Riverdale community.
Deputies responded to McLeod of Dillon in reference to Jones being brought there by someone, with Jones having multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced deceased moments later.
